Indoor Percussion Start Strong with 2nd Place

This past Saturday, the Pendleton Hieights Indoor Percussion Ensemble competed in their first competition of the season. Their show entitled "Chaos" received a 2nd place finish. This week the Indoor Percussion will be focussing on rehearsing to make the show even better as they will not be competing this weekend. We'd also like to take this moment to thank everyone who was involved with hosting the Indoor Percussion Contest here at Pendleton, as it was a well put together endeavor, of which was only successful becuase of all the hard work from our volunteers!

Winter Guards Show Up Strong at Terre Haute South, and Get Ready for Northview!

Last Saturday, both Winter Guards traveled to Terre Haute South High School. The JV Guard came out with a 4th place finish, while the Varsity came out with a 1st place finish. The season has been strong for both groups and as we get closer to the end, they continue to push hard. This weekend the guards will be heading to Northview High School where it will be a battle of the best as the Northview contest is well known for being a Preview of the Prelims. Both groups will have to give stellar performances this weekend and we can use all the help we can with a loud cheering section! We hope that you can make the long drive and help cheer on both of our groups. Itenerary as always can be found below.

ISSMA Jazz Band Contest

On March 3rd, the Pendleton Heights Jazz Band, Jazz Express, and Combo Band will all be traveling to the ISSMA Jazz Band Contest at Whiteland High School. All three groups will be competing against other groups from around the state. We hope to see you there to support our students in this endeavor. Click below for an itenerary for the evening.

Pendleton Band Announces Hawaii Trip for 2018!

The Pendleton Heights Marching Arabians like to take a trip with the students usually occuring every other year. Last time we took the kids to Philidelphia and New York and had a great time. This time, we thought a trip to Hawaii may be a fun time. This trip will be open to all students who participate in the 2017 Marching Band Season, and will occur during spring break next year. All information including what we will do on the trip, the cost, how to sign up, and where to pay can be found in the file linked below. This trip is jam packed full of amazing things we will be doing, INCLUDING a performance of the band while in Hawaii. Parents and siblings are also invited to join us on this trip as well.
